Stefan
Tarzan has spent most of his life traveling throughout the western
United States.
Born in San
Francisco, California, his family moved to Washington State when he was
two years old and he grew up in Olympia, Washington.
A graduate
of Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana, he received a Bachelor
of Science in Motion Picture Production.
After
graduation he moved to Southern California and has worked in film
production for twenty years as a camera assistant, camera operator and
director of photography. Film work has taken him to Europe,
Central America and throughout the United States.
He began
working with panoramic photography in 1992 and has had work exhibited in
galleries throughout the West.
In 2003, he
purchased his first home in Livingston, Montana. He divides his
time between Montana, California and wherever his work takes him.
